Qingdao Software Park is situated in the civic centre of Qingdao, which is the main municipal hub of Qingdao’s economy, technology, culture, business, finance and tourism industries. With a beautiful environment, pleasant climate, well-developed transport system, established financial institutions, star hotels, shopping malls, Qingdao Software Park is the deal place to work.
By the end of 2007, the total completed office area is approximately 400,000 square meters and more than 160 companies have settled in the Park including Microsoft, NEC and Alcatel- Lucent.
As a National Software Industry base, Qingdao Software Park has won a series of awards including Advanced National Software Industry Base, Excellent National Software Export Base toward Europe & US, Advanced Management Unit of National Software Base.
To accommodate the demand for the fast developing software industry in Qingdao, Qingdao Software Park Aoshan Extension is now under construction. The Aoshan Extension is purposed as an international Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) base, with approximately 10 square kilometres’ land area.
